About Cedar Scout
Cedar Scout is an independent guide for people choosing a home sauna. Our job is to help you find the one that fits your space, your wiring and your budget, and to show our work.
How we gather information
- Every spec comes from the manufacturer's or seller's own pages, manuals or spec sheets, and each one links to its source.
- Each spec sheet is dated. Prices and specs were last checked on 30 Oct 2026.
- When a seller's pages contradict each other, we use the more cautious figure and say so.
- When a maker doesn't publish something, we show it as not published. We never fill a gap with a guess.
What we label, and how
- Manufacturer figures are what the maker publishes.
- Brand-commissioned tests are tests the brand paid for, such as EMF readings, and are labeled that way.
- Claims are statements a seller makes without published figures behind them.
- Editorial scores are our own, calculated from published specs using the method on our home page.
What we don't do
- We haven't tested these saunas in person, and we never say we have.
- We don't publish star ratings, testimonials or reviews we can't back up.
- We don't make health or medical claims.
- We don't use countdown timers, fake scarcity or invented discounts. A "was" price appears only when the seller shows one.
- Electrical information is preliminary guidance. A licensed electrician must confirm what your home can support.
Who we include
Cedar Scout may earn a commission when you buy through affiliate links. Today all of the 149 saunas we list link to SaunaKits.com or Topture, retailers whose affiliate programs we've joined. Every purchase link is labeled, and commissions never change our scores or rankings. Within that catalog, every sauna is scored by the same published rules, whatever its seller pays. Corrections
When we find an error, or a seller changes a spec or price, we fix it and update the check date on that page. A correction never changes our method to favor one brand. Read the full corrections policy and our sources.
