Every infrared sauna uses far-infrared emitters. "Full spectrum" means the maker adds near- and mid-infrared emitters as well. 20 of the saunas here are sold as full spectrum. We list what each maker says its sauna includes. We don't rate claimed health effects, because that's outside what published specs can show.

Most don't. 53 of the 56 infrared saunas we list run on 120V. The rest, mostly four-seaters and outdoor models, need a 240V or 30A circuit.
The infrared saunas we list publish maximum temperatures from 140 to 170°F. Infrared heats your body directly, so the air stays cooler than in a traditional sauna.
We can't say one is better. Full spectrum adds near- and mid-infrared emitters, and makers describe benefits we don't evaluate. Compare price, size, wiring and warranty instead.
